Dr. Elzie Chan-Englender graduated from Illinois College of Optometry in 2002. Since then, she has worked in a multitude of Optometry and Ophthalmology practices. She began her journey in Manhattan working at a retail optical and at a private contact lens Optometry practice. She then spent 8 years at a private Ophthalmology practice in Manhattan providing primary eye care, Glaucoma eye care and LVC co-managed care to patients. Currently, she is a staff Optometrist at the Ophthalmology department of a hospital in Queens providing primary eye care to patients with an emphasis on Diabetic eye care and Glaucoma management. She also co-owns and co-manages a retail optical in Queens for the past 8 years. The little free time that she has is devoted to her husband and son.
